Passing showers this morning, then plentiful sunshine this afternoon. Trade winds are easing today and will be 10-20 mph with some stronger gusts after lunch.

High in Honolulu will be 86.

Winds will crank back up into the breezy zone by week's end. This weekend will likely be on the wetter side with leeward areas your best bet for blue sky.

Surf is building out in the country with a new long-period WNW swell. With the lighter winds, east shores are trending smaller. South shores may have Box Jelly Fish today. Check with lifeguards before you or the kids jump in the ocean.

Small Craft Advisory for Maalaea Bay, the Pailolo and Alenuihaha channels, along with coastal waters south and west of the Big Island.
