Lighter winds today, but still breezy. Passing showers will ride in on the wind and drop mainly windward and mauka. Leeward and town beaches will be your best bet for blue sky.

The high in Honolulu will be 86 degrees. Winds will peak at 15-25 mph this afternoon.

Box jellyfish are likely along south shores today. Check with lifeguards before you or the kids jump in the ocean.

Surf is dropping along east shores so the NWS has dropped the High Surf Advisory. A new NW swell will roll in starting tonight but wave heights will be short of advisory sized. Here's today's NWS surf forecast: East shores 3-5 feet, North and South shores 2-4 feet, West shores 1-2 feet.

Small Craft Advisory for Maalaea Bay, the Pailolo and Alenuihaha channels, along with coastal waters south and west of the Big Island.
