Rescuers on the Big Island are searching Friday morning for a missing hiker in Naalehu.
Crews first started searching the reserve off Kaalaiki Road around 2 p.m., but had to suspend the search when it got too dark, according to the Hawaii County Fire Department.
The search area is filled with rivers and waterfalls, making it hard to see from the air and ground.
