Breezy tradewinds will hold firm for the next several days, which means more great air quality with comfortable humidity levels. There will be a good balance of showers and fair skies for the next couple of days, but showers from a remnant cold front to our north will dampen the trades starting sometime Sunday and continue into the first of next week.
Most of the rain will favor windward neighborhoods, with only isolated passing showers for leeward sides.
Surf is up a bit out in the country and as the trade winds strengthen the east shores will see larger and increasingly dangerous surf. Here's today's surf forecast from NOAA: North 4-7 feet, East 3-5 feet, West 2-4 feet, South 1-3 feet.
Small Craft Advisory for all Hawaii waters due to strong winds and building seas.
