Breezy tradewinds will step up a notch going into the weekend.
Scattered showers will favor windward areas tonight. It'll be especially wet for the east sides of Maui and the Big Island. Drier conditions are due before the weekend.
Isolated thunderstorms popped up this afternoon just north of Kona with heavy downpours and might even drop some snow on the summits.
Surf is small in size all around. A small country swell should roll in tomorrow. Here's tomorrow's surf forecast: North 5-7 feet, East 2-4 feet, West 2-4 feet, South 1-3 feet.
A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for Maalaea Bay, the Pailolo and Alenuihaha channels, along with coastal waters south and west of the Big Island.
