Big Island advocate for homeless dies

BIG ISLAND (HawaiiNewsNow) - A Big Island dentist, known by many for his dedication and passion to help the homeless was remembered, Monday night.

Dr. Cliff Kopp passed away Saturday morning, after suffering a stroke.

Kopp is famous for his annual walks around the Big Island in an effort to increase services for homeless.

He had just finished his fifth walk on Oct. 6.

Kopp was 60-years-old.
