HANA, MAUI (HawaiiNewsNow) - The U.S. Coast Guard suspended its search Sunday night for a free diver who was reported missing in the water near Hana, Maui a few days prior.
The Coast Guard, Maui Police Department and Maui Fire Department spent Friday looking for Josh Goodwin, 40. He was last seen on shore near Hana on Thursday and had said he would swim out to meet a friend about 200 yards offshore.
Goodwin never arrived.
He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall with dark hair. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call authorities.
