HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Architects Hawaii is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year & had a company-wide contest to design something for public use & benefit. Two young designers won the contest with Pedal Parc.

Located on Bishop Street in front of the Territorial Building, Pedal Parc lets people get on bikes and recharge their mobile devices. It's constructed of sustainable materials and powered by solar panels. If not to take an re-charging break, people can sit, do a little people watching or use WiFi for online work or entertainment.
