HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - FarmLovers celebrates one of Hawaii's most wonderful crops at the 3rd Annual Hawaii Coffee Festival. Explore Hawaii-grown coffees, from across the islands, brewed a variety of ways- each bringing out unique flavors. Learn about coffee from cherry to cup, and everything in between. Taste foods made with coffee, by four of the islands favorite chefs: Bob McGee, Arnaud Jager, Kevin Wong and Sean Priester.
Be sure to get a taste of Kakaako Kitchen's famous NitroBrew! Meet the growers, get caffeinated, and enjoy the day. Since the 15th Century people have been enjoying this delicious brown beverage - come find out why!
It is the 3rd Anniversary of Kakaako Farmers' Market, so there will be free Mocha Java Cake made by Honolulu French Connection. Come hungry, and enjoy the live music by the Keanu Boom Kanani Band while relaxing in the covered café. The 3rd Annual Hawaii Coffee Fest takes place Saturday, October 15, 8 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Kaka'ako Farmers' Market at Ward Warehouse (Auahi Street between Ward & Kamakee).
