PEARL CITY, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - After a days-long search for suspects in an armed robbery at a Pearl City smoke shop, Honolulu police have made an arrest.
Police on Tuesday arrested 21-year-old Wayne Okagbue on four counts of first-degree robbery.
Okagbue was transferred Thursday morning from Honolulu Police to the federal agency, The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and explosives (ATF). He is charged with using a gun to commit violent acts.
The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Hawaiian Holy Smokes off Kamehameha Highway.
Police said the three suspects used a gun to steal $1,400 in cash and merchandise.
The two other suspects remain at large.
