University of Hawai'i senior wide receiver Marcus Kemp has been added to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List, announced by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation. The award recognizes the season's outstanding receiver in college football.

Kemp currently leads the team with 30 receptions for 510 yards and four touchdowns. The Layton, Utah native, ranks third in the Mountain West and 35th nationally, averaging 85.0 yards per game, while his 5.0 receptions per game average ranks fourth in the league. Kemp is also averaging 17.0 yards per reception, which is eighth-best.

The senior is approaching 2,000 career receiving yards, which only 14 other Rainbow Warriors have accomplished in program history.  He currently ranks No. 15 all-time with 1,980 yards and needs 46 to surpass Craig Stutzmann, who sits at No. 14 with 2,025 yards.

The 2016 Biletnikoff Award winner will be presented live on December 8, 2016, on The Home Depot College Football Awards Show to be broadcast 7:00 - 9:00pm (EST) on ESPN. College Football Hall of Famer and Heisman Trophy winner Desmond Howard will present the 2016 Biletnikoff Award winner on the show.

No UH receiver has won the Biletnikoff Award, however, three were semifinalists – Ashley Lelie (2001), Chad Owens (2004), and Greg Salas (2010).

The award is named after Fred Biletnikoff, a member of the pro and college football Halls of Fame. He was an All-America receiver at Florida State and an all-Pro receiver for the Oakland Raiders.
