HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawai'i for Hawai'i, the premier visitor industry- driven benefit concert, returns in support of The Institute for Human Services (IHS) and its effort to alleviate homelessness. It will take place on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. on the Great Lawn at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort.
This year, the event will include performances by Henry Kapono and the Rough Riders, Makana, Keola Beamer, Robi Kahakalau, Mike Love, Taimane Gardner, Jerry Santos and many more. There will also be a four-course plated dinner from Hilton Hawaiian Village's Culinary team, followed by a fireworks show to close the evening.
Those at home can also be part of the event by donating through the live telethon. The evening will be broadcast live on Hawaii News Now and at www.hawaiiforhawaii.com. The event aims to raise $1 million in support of IHS.
