The trade wind weather will continue today, but it will be a little bit wetter for Oahu and Kauai.

An old cold front to the north is dissipating and as it sags south, the clouds and moisture will get caught up in the wind flow. Windward and mauka neighborhoods will get a majority of the showers.

The trades will be light this morning, then 10-20 mph with some stronger gusts this afternoon.

High in Honolulu will be 86 degrees.

Surf is dropping out in the country but there will be two reinforcing swells this week. One on Tuesday and another Thursday.

Here's today's surf forecast: North 10-14 feet, west 5-10 feet, east and south 2-4 feet.

Small Craft Advisory effective 10:00 a.m. this morning for Maalaea Bay, the Pailolo and Alenuihaha channels, along with coastal waters south and west of the Big Island.
