Clouds and showers will increase Monday as a weak frontal boundary moves southward over the state. The bulk of the showers will fall on windward and mauka areas, but leeward spots will see a few showers as well. Some of the showers could linger a bit Tuesday and Wednesday in the form of some morning showers, but we should have a lot of afternoon sunshine accompanied by moderate to locally breezy trade winds for the remainder of the week.
Surf has fallen below advisory levels but will remain elevated for north and west shores. A new northwest swell is forecast to arrive Tuesday, but it will stay below the advisory threshold. No marine warnings are currently in effect.
