HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Singer/songwriter Alii Keanaaina began his musical career with his twin brother Nui Keanaaina/lead guitarist in 2001 but came into prominence after winning the 2010 Klyde "Kindy" Falsetto and Storytelling Competition and releasing his debut album honoring his loved ones with He Mele No in 2012. Now with the addition of his manager/rhythm guitarist Matthew Hanato and bassist Benni Duque; Alii plans to share his faith, and love for his family and Island home through his music.

"Music and me" will give you a more in-depth look into the artist that is Ali'i Keanaaina. From traditional selections like "Hui Konikoni" and "Ahe Lau Makani" to a playful mischief in "A He Aha" and "Green Rose Hula". Collaborations with musicians like Sonny Lim and Dwight Tokumoto, Karl Kasberg, and singer/songwriter Natalie Ai Kamau?u Will take you on a melodic journey on this new CD.
