A tour helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing on Kohala Mountain Tuesday morning.
Big Island firefighters were dispatched around 9:30 a.m. and arrived about an hour later to find the Volcano Helicopters aircraft with damage to the main and tail rotor blades.
The pilot and two passengers were not injured.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
