Possible water leak closes portion of UH Manoa campus

MANOA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

University of Hawaii officials say a portion of the Manoa campus will be closed Sunday due to a possible water leak.

Board of Water Supply crews will be investigating the possible leak between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. and during that time the UH Campus Center, Warrior Recreation Center and Hemenway Hall will be closed.

No Student Housing facilities will be affected but a number of buildings will be without water and air conditioning, UH officials said.

The buildings affected are:

Sinclair Library

Crawford Hall

Dean Hall

Gartley Hall

George Hall

Hawaii Hall

Administrative Services Building #1

Administrative Services Building #2

Building 37

Krauss Hall (museum side only)

Miller Hall

UH officials said an update on when water service is or will be restored will be provided by or before 4 p.m. Sunday.
