Where to get rid of your unused, expired meds at locations statewide

HAWAII (HawaiiNewsNow) - As part of the National Take Back Initiative, all counties will be accepting unused or expired prescription medication and other drugs on Saturday Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at multiple locations across the state.

Tablets, capsules and all other solid dosage forms as well as other drugs and drug paraphernalia will be accepted for safe disposal. Needles and syringes will not be collected.

All drop-offs are accepted anonymously, no questions asked.
