Officials are investigating five separate “suspicious” brush fires along Molokai's Maunaloa Highway on Tuesday.
Firefighters were on scene of the first fire near the Seventh Day Adventist Church across Ulili Street at around 5:50 p.m. They then found the four other brush fires along the east side of Maunaloa Highway.
All brush fires were about 200 to 300 yards apart, fire officials said. They were extinguished by 6:30 p.m.
No damage or injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
