(HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A man was arrested at McKinley High School early Monday morning in connection with the second dog reported stolen from the Humane Society.

A police officer recognized the dog and brought it to the Hawaiian Humane Society for identification. The Humane Society scanned for the dog's microchip and it was a match to “Pebble,” the small black dog taken last week.

Last week two dogs were taken from the Hawaiian Humane Society. The first dog was recovered two days after being taken from the Humane Society.
