Wet and breezy trade wind weather as you get back to work and school on this Monday.

The showers will fall mainly windward and mauka, but all neighborhoods will see at least an occasional shower. Leeward sunshine is expected this afternoon. The trades will peak after lunch at 15-20 mph. The high in Honolulu will be 87 degrees.

Waves are coming up out in the country with a new northwest swell. South is small but fun. Here's today's National Weather Service surf forecast: 3-5 feet north, 2-4 feet east, 2-3 feet west, 1-3 feet south.

Small Craft Advisory for Maalaea Bay, the Pailolo and Alenuihaha channels, and coastal waters south and west of the Big Island.

Box jelly fish are possible along south shores today. Check with lifeguards before you or the kids jump into the ocean.
