Forecast: State in for a brief period of humid, wet weather

Get ready for a short run of humid, wet weather.
The remnants of Hurricane Orlene will be moving through the state starting tonight, increasing humidity levels with more scattered showers will linger through early Saturday. Breezy tradewinds make a return Sunday.
The incoming rain is expected to favor windward areas, with fewer showers for leeward sides. Some of the rain might be briefly heavy.
The south swell is dropping, a small boost is due into the country over the weekend. Box jellyfish are due into south and west shores from Saturday through Monday.
