HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Two dogs have gone missing from the Hawaiian Humane Society, and were possibly taken.

"Our only concern is to get the dogs back safely," Hawaiian Humane Society officials said, in a news release.

The dogs are both micro-chipped, and were last seen with a man the society is identifying as a "person of interest."

They went missing about 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Anyone with information on the dogs is asked to call society Field Services Manager Harold Han at 356-2214.
