HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Music powerhouse and best-selling recording artist Mariah Carey will be performing in Hawaii for the first time in nearly two decades.
A third show was added Saturday to the concert line-up because of "unprecedented demand" for tickets, concert promoters said in a release.
Carey will be performing at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena on, Nov. 23, 25 and 26 as part of her "Sweet Sweet Fantasy" tour, promoter Rick Bartalini Presents announced. She will be bringing some of her timeless classics – including "Hero," "Fantasy" and "Always Be My Baby" -- back to life during the concert.
Tickets go on sale on Oct. 1 at 9 a.m., but due to anticipated demand for tickets, Hawaii residents and the military are eligible to purchase tickets during a pre-sale on Sept. 24 at 9 a.m.
Tickets will range from $65.50 to $255.50 and will be available for purchase at TicketMaster.com, the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena box office or by calling (800) 745-3000.
Carey's last show in Hawaii was in February 1998, when she performed in front of a packed Aloha Stadium for her HBO special "Mariah Carey Live Around the World."
