Typical tradewind conditions will persist through Wednesday.
Light to moderate rainfall will favor windward and mauka neighborhoods, falling mainly in the overnight and early morning hours.
Easterly winds will run steady at 10-15 mph through the weekend, slowing slightly on Thursday and Friday as the remnants of Hurricane Orlene move in.
The remnants will also bring in more scattered showers and higher humidity levels.
The surf is dropping islandwide, except for a small pulse picking up along south shores.
