Forecast: Drier, sunnier, less humidity to start the week

Sunnier and drier weather is expected for much of the coming work week, along with less humid and more comfortable conditions. Trade winds may be locally breezy Monday and Tuesday. There are no organized rainmakers in the area, with only light isolated windward and mauka showers during nighttime and morning hours. Daytime highs will be close to 90 degrees.

Small Craft Advisory is posted until 6 p.m. Monday for the usually windier waters around Maui County and the Big Island. Surf is declining on north and west shores, but some chest-high sets are still possible in the country. We're also looking at a moderate boost for south shores Tuesday and Wednesday.
