HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow)-- Children will be able to learn and play with some of their favorite Nickelodeon characters at the Bishop Museum next month.

The traveling interactive exhibit by the Children's Museum of Indianapolis features characters from "Dora the Explorer" and "Go, Diego Go!" The exhibit will open Oct. 8.

Children can find characters like Dora, Boots, Tico and Isa. They can also spot crowd favorite friends and places from episodes.

Kids will be able to slide through a “Purple Planet” display, put on a spacesuit and pilot a rocket ship or dress as a pirate aboard a pirate ship. The exhibit facilitates children learning and encourages interaction and imagination.

Children can also explore Isa’s Flowery Garden display where children can pick flowers, or Diego’s Animal Rescue Center where they are able to diagnose and treat animal injuries.

The exhibit will be located in the Caste Memorial building and will run through Jan. 8.
