Authorities say the woman was approached by two juvenile males shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, near the Old Kona Airport. The woman says she was punched and then sexually assaulted by the teens.
The suspects ran off when a witness intervened, and the woman was treated for her injuries at the Kona Community Hospital.
The only description for the suspects provided was that the first was "skinny" while the other was "muscular".
Police were able to arrest the first, a 15-year-old boy, the following day. He was later released to his parents. The second suspect has not been caught.
