Sticky and wet weather today and through the rest of the work week.

Winds are light easterlies at 5-15 mph. Showers are falling along the Koolau and over many windward and mauka neighborhoods. Heavy showers fell on Maui yesterday afternoon/evening and created some flooding. More of that is possible today especially for the islands of Maui County and the Big Island.

High today in Honolulu will be a humid 87 degrees.

Surf is elevated both town and country with an early season NW swell and a series of smaller SW pulses.

Here's today's surf forecast: 6-9 feet north, 3-5 feet south, 2-4 feet east and west.

Flash Flood Watch posted for Maui County and the Big Island through Wednesday afternoon.
