Former massage parlor owner arraigned for bribing federal agents

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

A former Hawaii massage parlor owner was arraigned in court Monday for allegedly bribing U.S. Homeland Security agents in 2015.

Biyu Situ was indicted by a grand jury last week.

Prosecutors said she offered to pay the agents $5,000 to get a heads-up on raids and for help with the U.S. citizenship test.

Situ allegedly tried to make the deal after two Chinese women at her massage parlor were arrested for prostitution.
