HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Here's what's trending today. Howard asked the question, "Is the fashion industry failing 100 million women?" Tim Gunn of Project Runway reportedly says, yes, it is. The average American woman wears a size 16 or 18. But Gunn says fashion designers still look on big women with disdain. He says what they make for plus sizes often makes women look bigger or infantile. Gunn says designers say no two 16's are alike so it’s hard to design for them. Translation: it's easier to make clothes for women who don't stick out anywhere. But, as Tim Gunn likes to say, “Make it work.” Project Runway recently crowned its first contestant to show plus sizes. But Gunn said her victory reeked of tokenism. He made these points in an op-ed piece for the Washington Post.

Grace shared some trending video from Australia. It's an epic slip and slide stretching more than 100 Meters. That's longer than a football field. It's the annual Borrud Slip 'n Slide at a farm in Australia. More than 75 people took advantage, all using different ways of getting to the bottom.
