One man is dead, another arrested following an early morning crash on Farrington Highway near Nanakuli Avenue Saturday morning.

Police arrested 23-year-old Kalani Lessary of Makaha for DUI and first degree negligent homicide.

The crash happened just after 5 a.m. when police say Lessary and a female passenger were heading west on Farrington Highway and collided with a car turning left onto the highway from Nanakuli Avenue.

The driver of the car Lessary collided with was taken to Queen’s Hospital in critical condition where he later died. The driver has been identified as 49-year-old Matt Moe of Waianae.
