Over 400 participants walked the 5K route through Ala Moana Center to bring awareness to drunk driving related injuries and deaths Saturday morning.
The 5th annual signature fundraising event raised $60 thousand dollars for Mothers Against Drunk Driving Hawaii.
Every dollar donated is used in Hawaii to provide victim services and prevention education.
Many of the event’s participants share the common bond of knowing someone who was injured or killed by a drunk driver.
Dozens of corporate and community sponsors and over a hundred volunteers also contributed to make the event a success.
