HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Lighter tradewinds have taken over and are expected to linger through the middle of next week. Scattered showers will favor windward neighborhoods through Sunday, isolated showers for leeward sides.

A moist tropical air mass is moving up from the south, due into the state late Sunday, lingering through Wednesday. Spotty downpours are possible with more scattered showers. Humidity levels will rise as well.

Surf is dropping along south shores. A series of smaller south swells will continue over the weekend. A small to moderate NW swell is expected the first part of next week. Saturday's surf forecast: 2-4 feet south, 2-4 feet east and west, 1-3 feet north.

There are no current marine warnings.
