Forecast: Tradewinds to stick around through the work week

Steady tradewinds will continue for the rest of the work week.

Scattered windward showers will fall mainly in the overnight and early morning hours. Leeward sides will get abundant sunshine driving temperatures to near 90 degree. A disturbance is due over the east end of the state increasing the chance for showers later in the week.

South shores will get a boost tomorrow with some overhead sets. Choppy conditions will persist for east shores with a fading swell.

Wednesday waves: 3-4 feet east, 1-3 feet north, 5-7 feet south, 2-4 feet west.

A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for Pailolo and Alenuihaha channels, Maalaea Bay, and coastal waters south and west of the Big Island.
