The new International Market Place is set to open Thursday.
The renovated market place features a host of retail and dining options, some unique to Hawaii.
Among the offerings: Saks Fifth Avenue, Christian Louboutin, and Eating House 1849 by Roy Yamaguchi.
The destination is a far cry from the original International Market Place, a collection of affordable eateries and kiosks selling souvenirs that hearkened back to another era in Waikiki.
But something that is recognizable at the re-imagined shopping area: The iconic banyan tree in the marketplace's courtyard.
