An Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory is posted for Oahu until 6:00 a.m. It could be extended.
A Flash Flood Watch is up for all islands through the afternoon. That means any of us could experience flooding today and it could develop very quickly. Stay alert and stay with us, your Severe Weather Station on-air, online, and on your mobile device for the very latest weather information.
Winds will be light and variable with an overall southeast flow bringing more deep tropical moisture over the islands. Volcanic haze is increasing in our skies as well, but the rainfall is mitigating its impact so far.
High today in Honolulu will be a sticky 88 degrees.
Surf is elevated slightly along east and south shores but well below advisory levels.
In addition to the flooding mentions above, there are Marine Weather Statements tracking thunderstorms over waters, and a Small Craft Advisory posted effective 6:00 p.m. this evening for the Pailolo and Alenuihaha channels, and Maalaea Bay.
