The U.S. Navy wants to inform the public about harbor security exercises that will be conducted starting this week.
Exercises will begin Monday and will end Friday. They will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
During the training, loud noises may be heard, including the “giant voice” announcements at the beginning and ending of the training.
There will also be increased activities in the harbor, including using blank ammunition to simulate live fire.
The exercise is not in response to any specific threat.
