Authorities have identified the two people killed Saturday in a crash on Kunia Road.
The crash happened about 5:30 p.m. near Hawaii Country Club.
The victims were identified as Jose Molina, 32, of Pearl City, and Janell Fiori, 33, of Kapolei.
The cause and manner of death for the two is still pending.
Police said the crash happened when Molina was driving southbound on Kunia in a 2005 Nissan sedan with Fiori in the passenger seat.
Molina got into the northbound lane to pass other cars, then lost control when he swerved to avoid an oncoming car.
His car struck a guard rail and flipped over several times before coming to a stop.
Photos at the scene showed several good Samaritans attempting to lift the overturned car.
A 19-year-old also was taken to the Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.
The deaths are the 36th and 37th traffic deaths on Oahu so far this year, compared with 32 fatalities a year ago.
