HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - All five Ruby Tuesday locations in Hawaii will remain open, and aren't affected by eatery closures announced Friday.
Some 95 under-performing Ruby Tuesday restaurants on the mainland will close their doors. All of the affected eateries are company-operated.
Hawaii Ruby Tuesday eateries are locally-owned and are doing well, owner Rick Nakashima said in an emailed statement.
"We have experienced an increase in sales this year in four of our five stores," he said.
Ruby Tuesday Hawaii locations employ about 500 residents.
