HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A new trailer for the Star Wars spin-off Rogue One debuted last night during Olympic Coverage; we are showing you a portion this morning; Felicity Jones stars as the leader of a Rebel mission to steal the plans for the Death Star. That blind warrior you saw is played by Hong Kong action star Donnie Yen. "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" hits theaters in theaters December 16.
CBS unveiled its new programming schedule and there are some new shows in the line-up: Remember the classic T-V series "Macgyver." It ran seven season starting in 1985 and starred Richard Dean Anderson. A reboot is bringing back the '80s action hero to the 21st century. It debuts September 23.
Another highly anticipated new drama is "Bull." It stars former N-C-I-S actor Michael Weatherly. Weatherly plays Doctor Bull, the head of a company that analyzes juries to help develop defense strategies. It debuts September 20. Friends veteran Matt Leblanc is also back with a new comedy called "Man with a Plan." Premieres October 24.
The current trend of all-female cast reboots continues. Sandra Bullock will lead an all-female cast in "Oceans Eight" - a remake of "Oceans Eleven." The film will be about a group of crooks who pull off a major heist -- similar to the oceans series starring George Clooney. The all-star cast also includes Cate Blanchette, Helena Bonham Carter and Mindy Kaling. Reports say producers are still negotiating roles for Anne Hathaway and Rihanna.
James Cordon has book his next karaoke guest! Britney Spears will take a ride with James Corden for an upcoming round of carpool karaoke. The pop star will join "The Late Late Show" host on august 25th, the day before she releases her new album. The karaoke segment became a sensation back in January, when Adele took the hot seat.

The Radiothon for Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children continues this morning. It's on KSSK. They're broadcasting live from the hospital's cafeteria...taking pledges from listeners. You'll also hear some amazing stories from patients themselves, families and staff. The radiothon has been going on since 2006 and has raised over $1 million since it started in 2006 with 100% of every donation staying in Hawaii to support pediatric programs and services at the hospital.
