HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Drier air mass is moving over the state with returning tradewinds. Humidity levels will lower with a few light showers for a handful of windward spots. Leeward Big Island might get heat induced afternoon showers and cloud build ups.
The trades will pick up tomorrow with E/NE winds at 15-20 mph.
Surf is slightly elevated along east and south shores. Energy from former hurricane Ivette will kick up the east side into the advisory category Wednesday through Saturday. Surf today: 4-6 feet east, 2-4 feet south, 1-3 feet north and west.
