HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The World Economic Forum did a report on global tourism. Buried hundreds of pages in, was the map you're about to see. It caught eye of Max Fisher of the Washington Post. Because, he says, foreigners tell him we Americans are obsessed about how we're perceived. We're not obsessed: we just care how we're viewed, as we should. It would be ugly and oafish not to.
Anyway, this map shows each country's attitude toward foreign visitors in general. The most welcoming countries are Iceland, New Zealand and Morocco.
Other welcoming countries include Ireland, Canada and Thailand. The most unfriendly countries for foreign visitors are Bolivia, Venezuela and Russia.
