The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors baseball program continues to grow its roster heading into the 2016-17 academic year, as head coach Mike Trapasso announced on Friday the addition of 12 players for the coming season.

“While this group is obviously pitching heavy, it's a group that is athletic, polished and will all make an immediate impact,” Trapasso said. “We're excited to have these young men join us in a few weeks.”

Among the newest Rainbow Warriors, seven are pitchers; with five right-handers and two lefties. One utility infielder/right-handed pitcher will also join the team. The ’Bows will also add three infielders and an outfielder. Of the 12, nine will head to Honolulu from junior college, with the remaining three coming right out of high school.
