Forecast: Wetter weather expected tonight

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - It's warm with light winds as we begin our Wednesday. Overnight low temperatures across the state were mostly in the upper 70s. It is much drier than yesterday morning and should be a partly to mostly sunny day.

The high in Honolulu will be about 88 degrees.

Trades will pick up after lunch and be 15-25 mph.

Wetter weather is expected tonight and tomorrow as remnant moisture from former hurricane Frank moves through.

Surf is elevated along east shores due to the trade winds. South shores are getting a series of small swells this week. Today's waves: 4-6 feet east, 2-4 feet south, 1-3 feet west, 0-2 feet north.

Small Craft Advisory for Pailolo and Alenuihaha channels, and coastal waters south and west of the Big Island.
