KALIHI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaiian Telcom crews will be blocking lanes in Kalihi and Moiliili on Wednesday for emergency repair work, officials said.
From 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., crews will close westbound lanes of King Street, between Palama and Kokea Streets, so they can access three manholes. Signage and cones will redirect drivers to open lanes. Work in this area is expected to continue into the following week.
In Moiliili, crews will temporarily close the left-turn lane of McCully Street in the Manoa-bound direction, also from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Drivers are urged to plan ahead and consider alternate routes.
All work is weather permitting.
