HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - It's almost time for the 8th annual August Moon event at the Honolulu Museum of Art. Proceeds from the event fund arts education programs and exhibitions at the museum. It combines art, great food from 12 different restaurants and 20 different wineries selected by Johnson Brothers Hawaii president Bob Johnson. Many of the bottles, you can't normally get in Hawaii, but you can buy them at the event.
The event will feature internationally known Chinese mural artist Hua Tunan painting live.
It will be held Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, 6 - 9 pm at the Honolulu Museum of Art. The cost is $145 per person and $115 for members. For more information, you can call 808-532-8701 or go to honolulumuseum.org/augustmoon.
