HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - It's hot outside, but it's hotter in the Fasi Municipal Building.
The building's air-conditioning system went down over the weekend, and isn't expected to be back up until Tuesday, a city spokesman said.
The city says the air conditioning problems are believed to be linked to moisture from Tropical Storm Darby.
Only air conditioning in the building's first floor and basement is working. On other floors, workers are having to use fans and portable air conditioners to keep cool.
The city has also set up laptops in the basement and first floor to accommodate some workers from other floors.
Hundreds of employees work in the building, which is also home to several core city services.
