HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police have arrested celebrity bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman's stepdaughter in connection with a 2015 bank robbery.

Sources say Nicole Gillespie was arrested in Honolulu on Thursday about 8 a.m.

Honolulu Police Department officers had been tracking the 36-year old homeless woman for several days.

Last September, Gillespie was arrested for allegedly robbing the Territorial Savings Bank in downtown Honolulu. She was charged with second-degree robbery, but didn't show up for court proceedings.  A warrant for her arrest was issued.

After she was jailed last year, Duane and Beth Chapman released a statement saying they hadn't seen Gillespie in more than a decade but seeing her picture on Crimestoppers left them heartbroken.

Gillespie is being booked at the HPD cell block on Alapai Street.
