Going back to school can be a stressful time. New teachers, new classes and new situations can all contribute to stress in children.
Any negative, unusual change in behavior might be a sign your child is under stress. Irritability or moodiness, excessive worrying, anxiety, withdrawing from favorite activities or isolating themselves, complaining more than usual about school, or crying and acting out in a way that isn’t normal for your child can be symptoms of stress.
